Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune has released the list of candidates shortlisted for screening to be conducted at its Pune campus.
The candidates were shortlisted, from the candidates who have registered with MCC and expressed willingness to participate in AFMC Pune counseling. The candidates were shortlisted on the basis of their NEET UG 2019 scores.
The cutoff marks considered for shortlisting the candidates is as follows:
- Girls – 610 marks
- Boys – 596 marks
The cutoff for AFMC Pune has crossed the 600 marks barrier for the first time in its history.

The screening process is scheduled to start from 1 July 2019. Check the screening schedule to find out your time slot.
The shortlisted candidates are requested to confirm their attendance for the screening process at AFMC, Pune by 30 June 2019 by sending an email titled ‘Willingness to attend AFMC MBBS Screening 2019, mentioning your NEET-UG roll NO and NEET score to email Id : oicadmission@gmail.com.
You Should Take Note of These
- No separate call letters for screening will be sent to the candidates.
- In case a candidate fails to appear on the stipulated date of screening, it will be assumed that he / she does not wish to appear for screening.
Screening process
The various stages of screening at AFMC Pune campus is as follows:
- Identification and Verification of documents
- Test of English Language Comprehension, Logic & Reasoning (ToELR)
- Psychological Assessment Test (PAT)
- Interview by the Board of Officers
- Medical Examination & Medical Board
How the Final Selection is Done?
Candidates are selected based on their combined performance in NEET UG, ToELR, PAT and Interview.
- The marks obtained in NEET UG will be divided by 4 to get your score out of 180.
- ToELR is a Computer Based MCQ Test consisting of 40 questions. Each correct response gets 2 marks, while a wrong answer gets 0.5 negative marks. The duration for ToELR is 30 minutes. The marks obtained by you in ToELR will be divided by 4 to get your ToELR score out of 20.
- The psychological assessment and interview will be conducted for 50 marks.
The final merit will be based on the total score obtained out of 250 marks (NEET score, ToELR score and the interview score).
Separate merit lists will be displayed for boys and girls.
