AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) has released the vacancy status for round 2 online counseling of MBBS seats in all AIIMS institutes.
We have a total of 1150 MBBS seats in 15 AIIMS institutes. Online counseling for round 1 was conducted and the results were published on 29 June 2019. Subsequently, candidates who accepted the allotted seats were given time to report to the allotted institutes by 4th July 2019.
Now, AIIMS has released the Seat Matrix / Vacancies for Round 2 Online Counseling, which is scheduled from 15 July 2019 (5:00 PM) to 17 July 2019 (5:00 PM).
Seat Matrix / Vacancies for Round 2 Online Counseling
In total, we have 540 seats vacant for Round 2. That is almost about 47% seats vacant.
Eligible Candidates for AIIMS Round 2 Counseling
The candidates who are allocated seats in the 1st round and have chosen the option 2 or option 4 (see note below) and have fulfilled the requirements are eligible for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation/ Counseling.
(Note: Option 2: ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd round of Seat Allocation; Option 4: DECLINE/ REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd round of Seat Allocation)
All the candidates who had participated in the 1st round and were not allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round.
Those who have secured more than 50th percentile marks in the entrance examination but not called for 1st round counseling will not be eligible for the 2nd and 3rd round of Online Seat Allocation/ Counseling but will be eligible for Open Round of Seat Allocation/ Counseling.
All candidate who were eligible for the Mock/ 1st Round of Counseling but did not register or fill choices are not eligible for the 2nd and 3rd Rounds of Counseling.
